Sunrise Santa Barbara is a local chapter of the national Sunrise Movement organization based in Santa Barbara, California. We are a group of motivated and passionate young people fighting for climate justice and a Green New Deal.

What is the Green New Deal?

The Green New Deal is a bold congressional resolution that calls for the complete mobilization of our countries resources and power to make a just transition to 100% clean and renewable energy.

 

No one should be left behind during this transition. We have the ability to  bring everyone with us during this great change and provide good playing jobs for all.
